If Donald Trump cured cancer, I wouldn’t give him credit for it, and you shouldn’t either. The fact of the matter is just because you do some good things doesn’t mean you’re a good person.
Trump’s policies are whatever. The economy is in good shape, as is the stock market. Like any president when the economy is doing well or poorly, he gets either too much credit or blame. But he certainly isn’t doing any harm in that sense.
In terms of foreign policy, he’s actually surprised me a bit. He’s at least doing his part in preventing nuclear war and I think his decision to exit Syria is being unfairly criticized by the liberal media. But I’m not about to praise him for any of that because he’s one of the worst human beings alive.
And it’s utterly insane that millions of people are still lying to themselves about his character. We knew Donald Trump was a scumbag long before he ran for president. This isn’t something new. He was famous for being a greedy bastard who cheated on his wives – yes, plural – more often than Bill Clinton.
Trump supporters, however, claim everyone loved and respected The Donald. It was only after he ran as a Republican before the liberal media began to dislike him. No, that’s not true. It’s just that no one cared to dig up dirt on him back then because he was an entertainer. A reality TV star’s character doesn’t matter much to viewers. What matters most is if he can put on a good show. When you’re President of the United States, character counts. Well, except to the MAGA crowd, obviously.
Character Matters Unless You Have None
If you like Donald’s policies, fine. But even so, you shouldn’t support him as president. I disagreed with a lot of what Obama did during his eight years. Although the Affordable Care Act benefits some, I felt he constructed a healthcare plan that made insurance even more unaffordable for the middle-class. But I respect him for at least trying to fix America’s problems.
Obama is a good man. Even though I disagree with him politically on many issues and I never voted for him, he was an incredible president. Maybe the best one in my lifetime.
The fact of the matter is the president only has so much power. Your life is unlikely to be worsened or improved much because of one individual, even the most powerful person in the country. So, it’s important for the Leader of the Free World to be of the highest character to set an example for our youth and future generations.
Take Bill Clinton, for example. The 1990’s was a great time. The economy was booming thanks in large part to the growth of the internet and the dot com boom. America’s future had never looked brighter. But Slick Willy disgraced the Oval Office by cheating on his wife with Monica Lewinsky.
When I look back at Clinton’s presidency, I don’t think as much about the booming economy as I do his disgraceful behavior. I’ve never trusted him since because anyone sleazy enough to screw an intern in the Oval Office is a piece of garbage.
I figured Slick Willy banging an intern would be the most disgraceful act I’d see from a president in my lifetime. I was wrong.
Stop Lying to Yourself
Bill Clinton’s act has been far surpassed by Donald Trump in terms of moral bankruptcy. Yet, there are millions of people in this country pretending the current president is not only a great and honest man, but was actually chosen by god.
Donald is a completely worthless human who has a severe intellectual deficiency and no ability whatsoever to be honest. It’s gotten to a point where I’m convinced he’s addicted to lying. I’m not a psychologist so I’m not going to try to analyze his brain (if he even has one). But it’s clear he simply can’t tell the truth, for whatever reason.
To the people who still support him, why are lying to yourself about Trump? You claim you like his brutal honesty. How on earth can you be so clueless to not realize just how frequently he lies? I know, I know…”typical libtard brainwashed by the mainstream media.” Yeah, I’m the brainwashed one and not you. Riiiiight.
The media isn’t telling us Trump lies all the time. Trump is. Repeatedly. We don’t need CNN to brainwash us into thinking Trump tells a ton of lies. We can just listen to Donald speak.
Honestly, I’ve never met or known of anyone who lies as frequently as Trump. The typical response from a Trump cult member to this comment is, “all politicians lie” and “but Obama.”
They have nothing else. First off, what happened to the “he’s not a politician” claim from back on the campaign? I thought you guys liked him because he’s honest and not a typical politician? And as for Obama, sure, he probably told some lies. It’s true that all politicians lie. But saying “all politicians lie” to defend Trump is like putting someone caught smoking the Chronic in the same bag as, say, Ted Bundy.
There is no comparison between Trump and Obama. Obama’s failure to follow through in letting us “keep our doctor,” a lie the Trump cult members constantly regurgitate because they have nothing else, is nothing compared to the thousands of whoppers Donald has told the past few years. Yes, I said THOUSANDS. Literally.
So You Don’t Believe Me Trump is a Liar?
I know what you’re thinking, Trump cultists…I’ve made claims about your dear cult leader without backing them up with facts, as if you know anything about facts. But, just for the heck of it, I’ll give you just a snippet of the ridiculous lies Trump has told the past few years. And these are indisputable. This isn’t mainstream media propaganda. I’m not promoting any media source here. I’m just using Trump’s words. So, come up with a different comeback to defend your cult leader.
Lie #1: “If I run for president, I will release my tax returns, absolutely”
Trump repeated this claim during the campaign. He repeatedly said he would release his tax returns “after the audit is completed.” He never did. Forgetting that the man they claim is “always honest,” his supporters defend his decision to hide his tax returns with, “nobody cares about his tax returns.” That claim is incorrect as polls have indicated. But, even so, Trump supporters would have freaked out if Hillary didn’t release her taxes. They’d claim it’s proof that she’s hiding something. And they know deep down Trump won’t release his tax returns for a reason he doesn’t want us to know about. Plus, he lied about letting us see the documents, which is my main point.
Lie #2: “I’m worth $10 billion”
Forbes estimates Donald Trump is worth around $3.1 billion, a far cry from his $10 billion claim that he made numerous times on the campaign. Yes, I realize that $3.1 billion is still insanely wealthy. And who really cares how wealthy he is? But that isn’t the point here. The point is this guy is so insecure that even though he’s filthy rich as it is, he still feels the need to inflate his net worth. But, yeah, he’s an honest guy, right? Getting bored? Think the lies I’ve shared are ho-hum? No problem. Let’s talk BIG lies now…
Lie #3: “We’re putting in a middle income tax cut of about 10 percent…we’re doing it now”
Days before the 2018 midterms, the President claimed he was going to have a 10 percent middle class tax cut in the coming days. Like most of his promises, that never happened. He simply made it up. No tax cut was even so much as being proposed at the time. He just said it so people would vote Republican in the upcoming elections. The same people who repeatedly call Obama a liar because they “can’t keep my doctor,” however, didn’t even care. Interesting.
Lie #4: “Everybody’s going to be taken care of” (re: health insurance)
Trump not only promised to “repeal and replace Obamacare” on the campaign, but days before the election he told a crowd in West Virginia that he already has a “beautiful plan” in place that will fix all of our health insurance problems. He had no plan. None. Nothing. Not even a rough draft. And two years into his presidency, health insurance premiums continue to rise. You can blame Obama all you want for the current state of healthcare in America. But you also can’t deny the fact that Trump lied about having a “beautiful” plan drafted up on the campaign trail. But, yeah, let’s keep harping on that “you can keep your doctor” lie, right?
Lie #5: “We have to get rid of artificial lines across state lines” (re: health insurance)
Throughout the 2016 campaign, Trump said he wants consumers to have a right to purchase health insurance across state lines. He suggested this would help lower premiums due to more competition for insurers. And he might even be correct. Unfortunately, however, he never came through on this promise, which comes as no surprise to anyone who isn’t brainwashed into his cult. You can keep your doctor, Trumpkins?
Other than the Trump Hotel Moscow project and various other business dealings, Trump has zero investments in Russia. It’s cool though because Obama lied about that one thing that one time.
Lie #7: “I have no relationship with Putin”
Trump said numerous times he had no relationship with Putin. Other times, he was recorded as calling President Putin his “friend.” Interesting. Trump has an extensive relationship with Vladimir Putin. Does that mean he’s guilty of colluding with Russia to rig the 2016 presidential election? No, but given how dishonest Trump is and how many times he’s lied about his Russia connections, and the fact that he refuses to release his tax returns, it has to make you wonder, doesn’t it? I mean, if you aren’t in a cult and have the ability to think freely.
Lie #8: “One of my first acts as president will be to establish a commission on radical Islam which will include reformist voices in the Muslim community who will hopefully work with us.”
Yeah, this campaign promise never happened. Nothing more to say here. Oh, right, I forgot….”you can keep your doctor.”
Lie #9: “If I’m elected president, I will push for a constitutional amendment to impose term limits on all members of Congress.”
Other Character Issues
A small portion of Trump supporters admit he lies but don’t care, which is interesting considering these same people sure despised all the “Washington liars” during the campaign. But I digress.
Even if we ignore his repeated lies, Trump has many other character issues that prove he’s a terrible human. We’ve known for many years that Trump has had numerous extramarital affairs. He even paid porn star Stormy Daniels $130,000 to keep her mouth shut.
But this is a guy the phony Bible-beating Evangelical clowns claim is a “true Christian patriot.” That’s interesting coming from a group of people that previously called him “anti-Christian” before he won the Republican nomination.
Trump is no Christian. As we’ve already proven, he’s a pathological liar and we’ve also discussed his inability to be faithful to any of his three wives, including his current wife, Melabia, I mean Melania.
If Trump were a true believer, he’d support helping out the homeless and propose policies that ensure poor and homeless children don’t go hungry. He’s done none of that as president or in his civilian life. I’m sorry but a lying, greedy sexual predator isn’t a true Christian. And neither are any of his supporters who claim to be. You can trick mentally weak sheep, but you can never fool those of us who have functioning brains and matter to society.
It’s time for Trump supporters to stop lying to themselves about Donald Trump. And, most importantly, it’s time for them to grow up.
